Once a thief.......
For years George Joseph has been used by casinos to teach techniques used by cheaters. Having been on the other side of the table first he knew all of the tricks of the cheating trade. I attended several of his "how to spot the cheater" classes. He opened a training session with his own story on how he setup a poker game where he couldn't lose. The one technique I remember most was the one where he and his cohorts set up a poker game in a small town and invited several "fish". A few days before the poker game he bought up all of the playing cards in the town, opened the boxes, marked the cards, resealed the boxes and clandestinely put them back on the shelves of the stores where he purchased the cards. The unsuspecting "fish" came into town, purchased their own supply of cards and then proceeded to get fleeced. The moral of the story is don't play poker in small towns.
