Not sure what your budget is but what I would consider is a Dell (or any quality brand) laptop with a docking station, keyboard, mouse, and monitor. It's kind of the best of both worlds in my mind; you have a laptop you can take with you when you travel, go to work, school, etc. AND you basically have the equivalent of a desktop computer too for when you are at home in which all you have to do is slide the laptop into the docking station and everything (monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.) is already hooked up to. Anyway thats my perfect world.
