Steve Passalacqua has put together a wonderful DVD called PIONEER CHIP COLLECTORS. Click on the link, below, for more information about this DVD, or to purchase it from Steve. I've seen this DVD and I really enjoyed it. Thanks Steve. The DVD does contain some information that casual viewers may have missed. I'm presenting that information, good or bad (the "dirt"), right here, right now:

Archie Black (Chapter 14) - Archie is dressed in the old CC & GTCC ceremonial costume. At one point all CC & GTCC members were going to be required to wear this same costume (but not at the same time). That idea was dropped. If you look closely, you can see that he is also wearing a CC & GTCC secret decoder ring. Wearing that ring at a CC & GTCC function is probably safe, however, if it should ever fall into the hands of chiptalk.net, we're doomed!

Background Music, Part 1 (various Chapters) - This might be nothing more than a technical glitch. When some of the background music is played backwards, you can hear a message. A somewhat spooky voice says "Mail all of your R-10 chips to Steve Passalacqua...Mail all of your R-10 chips to Steve Passalacqua...Mail all of your R-10 chips to Steve Passalacqua". It's really quite strange.

Greg Susong (Chapter 20) - Although Greg claims he doesn't appear in this DVD, some astute chippers believe that he in fact does make an appearance. During Janice O'Neal's interview, look to her left, and there you go, isn't that Greg? Yes, it's an incredibly clever disguise that he has over his face, but that must be Greg. I heard that he was a little embarrassed about getting "caught" in this DVD, as he told everyone he would be at work that day. Because of this, Greg has now gone into hiding in rural South Dakota.

Unedited DVD - Prior to editing, this DVD was 2 hours longer than it is now. Just one interview took up those 2 hours, however, it was ultimately cut from the DVD. The person interviewed was Billy, yes the same Billy that would soon become a favorite on THE CHIP BOARD. I'll bet he had some really nice things to say.

Background Music, Part 2 (various Chapters) - When played backwards, another message can be heard in the background music. That message is "Paul is dead...Paul is dead...Paul is dead". Wow, this really cements the connection between chippers and The Beatles.

Steve Passalacqua (various Chapters) - Steve asks a number of collectors if they have a favorite chip. That seems like a good natured question. However, there is a little bit more to it. Unknown to everyone at the time, Steve had just completed a course in hypnotism. He might be saying "Do you have a favorite chip", but he is really placing a hypnotic suggestion into peoples subconscious minds. He is hypnotizing these people so that they will do something strange anytime they are around any alcohol what so ever. Upon seeing any alcohol, these otherwise fine chippers, will immediately strip to their shorts, crawl around the floor and bark like a dog. Now you know why so many chippers behave in this manner.

A new DVD? - Rumors persist that Steve will be recording at the 2007 CC & GTCC convention for a forthcoming DVD. This new DVD (if made) will be called "Chippers Gone Wild!", similar to the "Girls Gone Wild" series of DVDs. However, the "Chippers Gone Wild!" DVD will come with two complementary blindfolds.
