Still though by bidding early you are more than likely raising your aquisition price of the item you are bidding on by drawing some n00b into a bidding war. Ebay's system draws no distinction between a bid that is placed 6 days or 6 seconds before an auction ends. Personally I am out to buy what ever it is that has caught my eye at the lowest possible price. Why would anyone want to tip their hat and bid early???
