I am not suprised that ebay doesn't want to do it. I agree with some analysts who think ebay will contiue to move toward being the outlet for home sellers, and the auctions will evetually be secondary or non existent. The auctions account for a huge portion of their liability, and lawsuits increase every year (between sellers and buyers). They are accountable to stockholders not participants.
