I always think I would have paid another dollar. But that is after I lost by fifty cents, never when I bid 10 bucks more than the next fella two days earlier. I once saw someone advocate an extension of biddig, if a bid comes in the last minute or so, then the bidding automatically resets to 5 minutes. The criticism was an auction could go on and on and on. Would that really bother sellers? The buyers can quit anytime they wish. It seemed like a reasonable thought when I heard it.
