The casino isn't much, the town is nothing, but after 8 hours it was a great place to stop. First thing I did was check for poker tourneys and they have a Tuesday night tourney that started 1 hour after I got there.
I registered and found myself playing with 26 other people that ALL knew each other and all played poker together several nights a week. Oh boy.
This tourney had unlimited rebuys during the first hour and boy did these guys take advantage. The buy in was $15 and the total prize pool ended up being over $3,000. After the break I got deep into my chips with two others and ended up all in with a nut flush draw. It didn't come. Oh well, it was fun and we made enough at the blackjack table to pay for all the gas, the hotel and all our food for the first day.
And, the best part of all, this set of tourney chips somehow made it into my pocket before I left.
