Now, his overpriced, bloated monopoly of a cable service can't figure out how to broadcast a simple Pay-Per-View event. I ordered the WSOP broadcast. 3:00 PM and I still have a "not authorized" message on the channel it is supposed to be on.

A half hour with Customer Srvice on the phone. Maybe it is my remote they say. We will mail you one. Oh Gee, great idea, thank you. Wait! I can run up to the local branch office and pick up a remote! Let me call them. Me: "Hi! I am trying to watch.." SORRY I CANT HELP YOU Huh....wha? I say. I didn't even get my question out. "Someone just walked in and I have to help them" she says. I say..."Thats it?" She says yup and hangs up. I swear that is how it happened.

I got in my car and did 75mph to the office, which is 4 miles away. There is not another car in the lot. Remember the Terminator when Arnold goes "I'll be back!" and drives a car thru the entrance of the police station? That was me. OK, maybe not, but let me tell you, I saw some lady run under her desk when I wakled thru the door yelling "Who just answered the phone!!!!", lol. OK it wasn't that funny for either of us.....

I get the remote, run home and start clicking. NOT AUTHORIZED. You Mf'N SOB!

Back on the phone 10 minutes on hold only to find out that it is not me. It is all of us poor saps who pony up $75 to $100 a month to these boobs.

Oh well, back to Poker Pages for last hours updates. Andy, keep firing away please, and if Y'all get a CNN Flash about some nut on the roof of Madison Square Garden dangling Mr. Dolan (who will have a Pulp-Fiction inspired red ping-pong ball strapped over his mouth) by his ankles from the blue seats, you can say you knew me when.
