I feel for the guys at the rental place who actually thought it would be OK to give me a 4x4 with only the warning... "we only tow from pavement. If you have problems... it's up to you to get it to the highway..." I did some explaring on the big island and had a ball - and didn't need a tow.
Didn't find any casino chips on this trip, but I did manage to find some MOP carved ovals and fish shapes. She was asking too much, in my limited experience.
I've booked my flights for the convention... hotel is done and just need a rental car. I've ordered three personals for trading and now I just need to work my way through all the tip posts and figure out what the hell I am going to do when I get there. THere have been a couple of new casinos starting up in these parts, and I am hoping to make a couple of runs and stock up for the trip. Any requests, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.
I am working my way thorugh emails and catching up here, so anyone who has sent me any messages - I'll get to them ASAP.
I'll be down on the 5th, so if anyone is going to be there that early, let me know. Also, is there any help needed with set-up or anything prior to the convention that I could help with? THose tips are appreciated.
