There are many good cabbies and some not so good, but all the companies seem to have them (I prefer the side loaders personally). I wish I had paid more attention to what I kept with me and what I put in storage, I had saved the cards of the good cabbies I dealt with and when they worked. Ask the bell captain for a suggestion. I have foud cabs (especially when with others) a pretty good value on the strip or going downtown. If I am going from the Riv to the Palms (always seem to find a reason at conv time), an option if I am alone is to motor up to Harrah's and take the shuttle to the Rio (free) and motor across to the Palms. The best assistance I have received from Hotel/Casinos regardig the cabs is Harrah's, Rio and the Palms (Gene T.-you guys should be proud of the folks who help out at the front door).
