valuable when I accidently and stupidly double-post a reply to the same message. I don't do it often, but it can be confusing, especially when it is in response to an offer to sell. Also, it would be good to use when my fingers outpace my brain, and I do not bother to preview the message before sending it. My fingers often outpace my brain, but I usually preview, so the stupid things I say have already been confirmed, most of the time.
