The sage advice is not to wear your convention badge outside the hotel/casino property for security reasons. However, when playing table games or slots at The Riv, or patronizing the Riviera restaurants/coffe shop it's a good idea to keep your badge on. Why? Visibility. It demonstrates our value as an organization to the property and goes a long way for future convention negotiations. The badge also opens up questions about our hobby from those who read your badge and would like to know more about CC & GTCC.
I'm sure there are lots of other tips that can be posted in this thread ... especially for the benefit of newbies or first time convention goers ... like not leaving chips in your trunk in the hot sun. Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert and it gets pretty hot out there during the summer.
