Just returned from LV & filled in some holes in one of my friend's collection of $1 chips.

I realize it is hit & miss when obtaining chips from the cage, however I just thought I'd pass on these few things.

We picked up chips from 17 different casinos & out of those the following went back into the vault to produce very nice & very clean examples:

Freemont
Hooters
Main Street
Excalibur
Planet Hollywood
California

While the Golden Nugget produced uncirculated chips.

When I asked at the Four Queens they produced 4 clean Win Card NCV chips & I was out the door with those.

Most cage personnel were friendly, understanding & willing to (unprompted) either to dig through a rack or hit the vault.

I always ask to see if they have any commemorative chips first which normally results in a search through the $5's if they even have any followed by the $1 where I ask for clean ones.

I normally buy 4 $1 chips if they are something I like/need & leave the 5th dollar as a tip so the next collector will have a better shot.

I didn't make it to the Rio to see any WSOP action, or The Palms to add one or two SS's.
