Back when the CCGTCC had chapters, the chaper presidents would meet at the convention to discuss a number of issues. This issue was brought up on several occassions. It is unlikely that the convention would ever be anyplace else other than Las Vegas. However, there could be a mini-convention in another location. In order for it to be viable, the sponsoring site would have to show that they had the resources to run a convention and the appeal to bring in enough traffic. The Deep South Chapter had proposed Biloxi as a possible site, but that was pre-Katrina and while they had an enthusiastic president who was willing to put in some leg work. If a viable location could be found and if there are enough volunteers to get it done, a mini-convention in the fall or winter is a possibility that the CCGTCC would entertain.
