When you auction an item, there is NO this item should sell for $xxx. That's the purpose of an auction, to set a price buyers are willing to pay for an item. If you have an idea as to what you think the item should sell for then you should offer it at that price for SALE, not at auction. As sellers we'd love to have it both ways but unfortunately we sometimes can't. Just my 2¢ worth, not to cast any 'stones'.
