I was always sceptical about the "Moline After Dark" name because I've never seen it on anything. When the attribution came back of East Moline, then I started digging. I found this matchbook below. The age is probably during the war because of the slogan on the back. The name "Dan O'Klock" and the fact it has an East Moline phone number and is in Carbon Cliff, Illinois (shares space with East Moline) make me believe they match. Did Dan O'Klock, Jr. take over after Max? Was Max maybe the child (the "Jr" in Dan's name might indicate his dad was also Dan). I don't know and I haven't really had time to research it. Anyone who can find something can have some "MD" chips, as I have quite a few.
