The action at Shuffles cardroom in Ebro, FL, was hopping last night. I guess the new Florida gaming limits brought in the crowds. They have about 20 tables and by 7:30pm had a 30 minute waiting list. The new laws allow a $100 buy-in $1/$2 no limit hold'em game to be dealt. The old $1/$2 limit hold'em players were getting their lunch handed to them as they're learning it's no longer no fold'em hold'em. With the new limits Shuffles has $10 and $25 chips on order. By 10:30pm they ran out of $5 chips which had only previously been used for the drop. Not only are the dealers slow, but they made more mistakes than I can list. I did manage to bring back a few chips which are listed on eBay. The $5 chips are like new since most were collecting dust in the cage until this week. I also managed to grab one of the newer $2 chips before they go the way of the dinosaur. Now I'm off to the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi with a list of chippers who've asked for chips.
