Some of you newbies are thinking, you collect what? Yes people do collect lottery tickets (you know that paper ticket you throw away when you didn't win the Mega Millions or Powerball Drawing from the night before. That scratch ticket you bought and it didn't win, so you toss it (look behind you somebody fished it out of the garbage can already).
In fact a short story. A well known chipper on this board once had a collection of his home state of lottery tickets. He met a lottery collector at the time in Las Vegas and sold his collection to him. This is the story I got from the lottery collector. As for the chipper you all know him (I won't give you his name). I'll give you a hint - Poker 
Now a days people collect just about anything, why not lottery tickets? I know people who collect Business Cards, License Plates, Fruit Stickets, Gift Cards, Beer Labels, Beer Bottle Caps etc... etc... etc... Its not just Coins, Stamps, Baseball Cards and Casino Chips, its everything else too.
We will be having our Convention (we call it Lotovention) on July 20-22, 2007 in Bensalem, PA at the Courtyard by Marriott, Northeast of Philadelphia, 3327 Street Road. Our doors open on Friday at 3:00PM, Saturday at 8:00AM and Sunday at 8:00AM. Its FREE admission, you can come in and see what collecting lottery tickets is all about. Maybe you have some oldies stashed away and were wondering what they were worth or just wanted to give to to somebody who collected them, here's your chance. Stop in and see me, I'll be there (woooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooo).
