Nicely put Rick. It's most unfortunate that newer collectors, along with us old guys, are subjected to the nastier side of things like this. Here we are trying to nurture the hobby and constant uncalled for negativity and personal attacks are what people get to see.

The crazy part is that there is nothing to be gained by anyone in the mud slinging. It only brings ill will from people that are not even involved. The innocent bystanders are subjected to all of the over spray of the mud slinging.

With a little luck, maybe....just maybe, there will be some enlightenment resulting from you post. Being a longtime participant of this fine message board, I'd like to offer my personal apology to you and everyone else have been subjected to this ongoing childishness.

As you mentioned, I'm also very surprised there haven't been Code of Ethics issues brought up to the Club. But then again, it would be wrong of me to assume that. This very well may be already in the works.

A note to all of the newer chippers that are reading this. Please don't be discouraged by the few. There are wonderful things to be learned here. There are wonderful relationships developing here. There are wonderful people posting here. The vast majority of the readers and posters here are good, kind, friendly people that don;t hesitate for a second to go out of there way to help their fellow chippers in so many different ways.
