Ten days to go and I'm definitely getting psyched. I'm having all those newbie fantasies---you know, the one where your six traders are extremely rare and everyone wants them, then the one where the person who first trades with you makes an error and swaps you a $5000 chip for your "rare" current Harrah's Joliet chip, and the one where your dream chip is found in someone's "take one....leave one" pile. And all the others. As old as I am I'll never be this young again (and if they can figure THAT one out, they're good!).

I'm hoping to make some friends, meet some nice people, and have a good time.I'm also looking forward to meeting some of the ILL and IND people I've bought from/traded with, and also putting some faces to a lot of the names I've seen posted here. I can hardly wait until 11 am on July 15th. And in an effort to entice some to attend from further away, I'm bringing a batch of my watermelon salsa for all to enjoy. When people hear the ingredients: Watermelon, onion, garlic, jalapeno, and various herbs and spices, they always go "UGH!". But when they taste it, they keep coming back for more and more until it's gone! So if you're teetering on attending, come on down and make fun of the newbie.
