That wasn't a rant, by any means. A rant is usually a lot longer and less structured than your post. In fact, how dare you call that a rant? A REAL rant drives home the point with all the subtlety and tact of of a piledriver, not that wet Kleenex of a rant you claimed. Why, in my town, anyone calling something like that a rant would be horsewhipped and run out of town on a rail, after being tarred and feathered.You can't call it a rant and then step back and go "oh my, isn't that a shame?" NO! NO! A thousand times no!!!!! During a true rant, feelings get hurt, enemies are made, and hatred and vitriol fly. If you were really on a rant about the postal rate increase, you'd be threatening boycotts, strikes, and more! After all, postal carriers take mail home, read it and then store it in piles until the newspapers find out and they make headlines.. How dare they raise the rates without improving service! Why, they all ought to be dragged from their homes in the middle of the night and forced to lick those vile-tasting stamps they have the audacity to charge more for! In fact, uhhhhhh........the nurse just showed up with my prozac. I have to go now.
