I can attest to that. Many years ago our family was on the boardwalk at Seaside Heights, NJ watching the fireworks being set off from a barge about 200 yards out in the ocean. 10 feet away from us a (we were told later) 2-1/2 pound shell fell, glanced off a womans left shoulder and struck her 4 year old child in the head killing him. My sister-in-law (on an ambulance Corps) ran over to help but the boy died.... Stay safe my friend, and be careful always.
