The little town about 4 miles south of us, Yachats (where we lived when we first moved to the Oregon coast) celebrates the 4th as a La-De-Da festival every year. They will have a parade, pie socials, and their fire-works tomorrow night, the 4th, and we will have ours tonight, the 3rd. This way we get to watch a great fire-works display twice.

I just love it here.

Next week-end is the all you can eat smelt fry in Yachats.
