I'm just curious as to what the problem with Alamo RAC was. I hope you don't mind my asking. I try to use Dollar almost everytime I rent but I have personal reasons for that choices.I've only used Hertz once and Avis once. Check the internet for rates, find the lowest rates with the company you want to work with and check the rates periodically since they do change all the time, sometimes of course going up and sometimes going down. Dont expect to walk up to the counter and have the agent tell you that the rates are cheaper that day for walk ups, that just doesnt happen. Yes, I know all about it. I know all the ins and outs on renting cars and all the games and nonsense involved. Know what you want, know what you want to spend but of course be realistic as well, know when you are getting a good deal. The rental car industry is based on taking advantage of people, misrepresentation, fraudulant sales tactics and more. WOW, did I just say all that??? LOL
