If you're going shopping for price, make sure you consider all the hidden charges to get the total cost. They very significantly from company to company. I suggest using Travelaxe. When the rental car prices come up they show both the weekly charge AND the total charge on the same screen - you don't have to read the fine print.
If I'm not using 2 nites for 1 coupons from Las Vegas I also use Travelaxe to book my hotel. It scours for prices from all the travel agencies and shows you the prices for each participating hotel from each travel supplier. After getting into the ballpark with Travelaxe, I check the likely hotel web pages for deal, but usually find that it's cheaper through Travelaxe. Travelaxe is recommended by Las Vegas Advisor as a good deal. I swear by it. The only caveat is that you will get the cheapest rooms available and don't have the opportunity to have special instructions.
