"I can relate to how tough finding good (cheap) flights can be. I manage 7 food warehouses across the US, unfortunately none of them are near Vegas, and so far this year, 26 weeks, I've made 22 round trip flights. The last 5 since I broke my leg.

I'm a motorsports journalist. I actually get paid to watch fast cars!

Some of my trips are per diem (I get a flat rate for the job, and cover my expenses out of that check) while others are on a full expense account. The guy who writes the checks for the expensed trips really appreciates it when I can come up with a below average flight bill, and he also will add some money to a per diem job when the expenses are overly high. He knows how this stuff works, as he's not just the guy who writes the checks -- he's also a colleague who travels more than I do.
