... it cost an average of around $13.00 to win a $10 Silver Strike. Like most players who've sat down at a Silver Strike machine, I've won a few of them at well under $10 apiece... and a few at closer to $20.00 coin-in. If the average coin-in required to win a Silver Strike is in fact around $13.00, the machines should be reasonably profitable for both the manufacturer and the casino. Yet there seem to be fewer and fewer Silver Strike machines to be found - and I believe IGT announced they are closing down their Silver Strike business.
