A Silver Strike machine is like any other machine. Sometimes they are hot and sometimes they aren't. I walked in to the Boardwalk Casino before it closed for chips and saw the Strike machine. I put in a twenty and hit one on my first spin. I could have left then, but I continued to play out the twenty and lost it all. So you see what that strike could have cost me and what it did cost me.
The 20 strikes are traded in at the cage for a nice 200 dollar strike. Some cages have different rules about what strikes they will accept. What I mean is they may have to be current.
