Couple years ago this guy I work with brought to work a $100 Desert Spa Vegas chip. He asked me about value and the chip was in darn near perfect condition. I asked where he found it. His response was a neat little story and will always be a mystery as to how this ocurred.

He said that when he lived in Hawaii he partied alot. He was on one of the smaller islands and decided to walk to his house about sunrise as the party wore down. He said he always looked along the roads for junk in the ditch. This morning he spotted the chip laying in the heavy wet grass. He picked it up and wiped it off and had no idea what it was. He decided to keep it and threw it in his desk drawer when he got home.

So, how did the chip get there? It couldn't have been there too long in the wet grass without seriously daming the chip I wouldn't think. Must have been a long strange trip over 40 years to get from Vegas to a small Hawaiian island.
