I don't know what I'll do. However every time I go to a chip show and see Leuders checking his laptop for what chips he needs, I think I should get a laptop. The fact that I can get a $350 credit on my camera makes getting a device fairly cheap. That it can take decent pictures, browse the weab (read: browse my website and check emails) and fit in my breast pocket is a big plus.
It was pointed out that a 2 mp camera is a $20-$20 camera these days. Well, so what. If I don't need more, what difference does it make to me. I'll get good quality pictures for the web as well as print outs as large as 5 x 7. Good enough for me.
It was also pointed out that the monthly cost is expensive. I pay $60 for $850 minutes of Family talk with rollover. It includes no text messages. Monthly cost for the iphone is an extra $20 per month with includes 200 text messages and unlimited web browsing.
The battery life was recently upgraded to, supposedly, the best battery life of any hand held device --- by far. I think if you want to change batteries you have to have att (or is it apple) do it.
Bottom line for me is, hopefully Skip will get an iphone so I can try it out at the convention!!
