people who will only collect mint condition? I'm not one of them! Surely if there were 1000 of these made, then only a fraction are still in mint condition. I assume since there are 7000+ club members than a LE 1000 or less is really a good chip to have and most collectors will never have one, no? Get it cashed in? Thanks for the advice but I would never do that with an LE. I believe an LE is always worth more than a house chip, since it is LE it is harder to get, and less of them to go around. Less supply, more demand. Who knows how many of the 1000 of these chips still exist, but regardless, my guess is that number is less than the number of people who would like to have one!
I prefer mint condition, but it is the same chip if it has some dirt and wear, I'm not going to turn down a LE chip I need if it's worn. I would just try and upgrade it down the road if ever possible...
I guess it goes back to quality / quantity. The collector who only wants mint, has more quality collection but surely less quantity!
BTW, I imagine you must have a real nice boxing chip collection with quantity AND quality. How do you organize it? Do you have some of them framed?
