At least I can suggest some advice from a local: NEVER pay for parking at the theme parks! They want like $10 and you need to know how to avoid all that mess. What 'some people' have done, is tell the guards that you just want to drop off your pasenger(s), and they will put a 'drop off' sign on your windshield or just point you in the right direction. This is great because the guards flagging people into the parking lot will now give you special treatment and help you find the front curb of the place. Then, as you promised, you proceed to drop off your passenger(s) and then you go find a nice close spot where someone else has left and now you got a better spot for free and your passenger(s) didn't have to walk 10 miles to get to the gate! You didn't say you were going to drop off and then leave, so just drop off and park! The parks make plenty of money on tickets (not from me actually) and on all the stuff you'll want to buy inside to be punishing people for not hang-gliding into the park and instead choosing to bring a car.
At one park, you can easily end up in the parking garage line from the streets outside if you are not paying attention so it is easy to tell them you are lost and you want to get back to I-4 and then instead just go park. Don't worry, they get more than their fair share of your money already! Every $ saved in parking is more $ to spend on food inside which is a better deal than a parking space. Either way, they get the same amount of $.
Anyway, have fun!
