As you already know, I am very much like you in that chip collecting is the first thing in my life I've ever collected. I'm sure that it is related to my general interest in gambling, casinos and poker.
That said, I'm partial to anything at all related to the casinos of Puerto Rico. I was lucky enough to live on the island for a little over a year as a teen. That experience had a profound effect on me. I lived next door to a casino in fact and the times were very liberal then so that a teen could find her way into a casino to gawk and enjoy feeling the excitement that was so prevalent. The memories and sensations have always remained with me.
Indvidual chips, complete chipsets, gaming guides, a silver bottle opener, old magazines from the 70s and 80s devoted to Puerto Rico gaming, room keys, key rings, ashtrays, post cards, etc. It's never ending. I even tried to buy a blackjack table from the Condado Beach Hotel and Casino, but alas, it didn't work out.
I'm a sucker for all things Puerto Rico casino related.
