Don't say you will never go to the convention. I'm going to my first one this year after 2 1/2 years of collecting, I never thought I would go to one. Money is tight for me to but I was able to get enough together to go this year. I've only been a member of ccgtcc for 1 1/2 years now but the membership has been useful. At the very least I have enjoyed reading the club magazine. Probably where the membership in the club has helped me the most is in purchasing chips. A lot of members will take a regular check from other members. I don't use paypal and running somewhere to get a money order can be a hassle some times. I think the sellers are willing to do this because it shows you have a certain commitment to the hobby therefore their risk in getting a bad check or none at all is reduced.

I’m not sure I can give you a definitive reason to join the club but I have enjoyed my membership over the last year or so and plan on continuing to be a member for some time.

Plus this year maybe I'll get to see this "Splash Bar" thing that everyone is talking about.
