It is very green almost like it has been dyed that way. I had a package come the same way, it is almost as if the sorter or something has a green wheel and when your package got stuck it kept spinning leaving a residue. In the 1996 movie "Dear God" they called the giant sorting machine in the post office, Barney since it was big and purple. I will the postal monster that ate your package Oscar, because it is green and obviously grouchy.
