By the way, the Matty $1 chip is listed in the California Guide as being from Matty's Bar in Stockton and is valued at $20-$40 and has a note that it is also been "sold" as a Las Vegas chip. There was a Matty's Tropics in Las Vegas and it does have a $5 & $25 large crown with four purple inserts listed in The Chip Rack. Since you found yours in with other chips from Stockton I would be inclined to think that is where it is from.
