Thanks Pam, I've asked a lot of old Las Vegas people if they remember him and usually it's, "Who?" I guess that's not unexpected though as I'd guess 95% of the people living in Vegas have been there less than twenty years and that's from 1951. He's in one film that I catch now and then on cable, "Bend of the River" with Jimmy Stewart. On TV he was the ranch foreman on Sky King but I'd guess only Archie, Doc Myers, Gene and a couple others would recall that series. Uncle Chubby knew and interviewed all of them. He saved silver dollars from slot machines and had a couple five gallon Sparkletts bottles filled with them - not chips, aarrgghh. I'll be at #15 all week and volunteering at the show so if you can bring it along one day I'd love to see it.
