A few of you know me here, and a few of you ocasionally read my articles in local papers. I'm just looking for a local pro who might let me know whether it's worth unloading some of my family's old silveer that just came into my possession. We are talking no more than a few hunred dollars -- just stuff my mom stumbled upon. Might only be worth a hundred or so.

I'd just like an honest opinion on what to do with some old silver coins my grandfather used to own. Sell it or polish it up for tacky silver jewelery? (Those who know me know I'm prone to BIG BIG jewelery, so that might be a choice).

Any advice is appreciated.
