Coming to the convention, booking a room. Players Card holders get cheaper rates ($59/$79) than convention rate ($69/$79), and that is before I give them action on the card (bummer -- will just have have to play craps...). Being primarily a poker player, I did not sign up last year since the Players Card doesn't work in the poker room. I just nailed down my travel dates and called them to reserve a room.

Apparently Riviera has new management, and will only let you reserve these player rates if you currently have a card (unlike a month ago when I originally asked). But, they will sign you up by phone (also unlike a month ago), but you need a referral from a standing cardholder.

That is where you all come in. Can one of you Player Card holders send me an email with name, city of residence, birthdate? Also please post on the board to ensure everyone knows it has been taken care of.
