I had a '63 Chevy II street racer in high school. It had a sm block 283 bored 30 over, a 3/4 cam, 10.5 to 1 pistons, and an Edelbrock six-pack off of an corvette. Car was lots of fun to drive but the six-pack was a pain to keep adjusted and as a sixteen year old kid, I couldn't afford it's voracious appetite for high-test gasoline it had to have.
