How do you pronounce the word "doku"? Do could be just as in my question, i.e., doo, or it could be doh, ala Homer Simpson, or it could be like dah as in doctor, or even duh (dah and duh are often too close to distinguish, depending on the region or dialect in question). Ku could be come as in kumquat, or it could be like cue as in pool cue, or it could be like quay, pronounced key.

...if I was gonna choose, it'd be duhkey. Second choice would be duhcue, but that probably wouldn't work well with most spoken media. So much for Friday night ramblings from a wordsmith...
