LM dues are 15 times the regular annual membership dues. An Associate Member may apply for Life Membership any time after 3 years upon payment of 15 times the regular membership dues, whether the Life or Regular or Charter Member in the family is alive or recently deceased.

However, once the Life Member or Regular or Charter Member dies, the Associate Membership can not be re-newed since there is no longer Regular or Life Membership living to which an Associate Member can piggy back on to. The Associate Member would have to convert to another type membership in order to continue to be a club member.
