I agree though that the length of the jail sentence the judge handed out was excessive. However, did you catch how they figured Paris was jailed for five days ... not three? She checked in at 11:30 p.m. and got credit for a full day, and was "re-assigned" to house arrest at 2 a.m. and got credit for another full day of jail time. I guess they must count differently in California.
