I agree the product may be viable, but that in and of itself is an insufficient reason to not challenge its marketing. It is taking advantage of a person's lack of knowledge, not a service to those that don't want to go thru the trouble of getting the coupons themselves. It requires more effort to get them off ebay then to get them when you arrive in Vegas, or with a phone call they will mail them to you. So I think the auction is deceptive.

No person who visits this board is required to be a member, and I would hate for it to be a requirement (if it was, folks who weren't members may never see the good that the club does). I don't object to Nancy using this board, but I feel she uses poor ethics, and hides behind a first name (which I now wonder if it is real since in one of her posts in this chain, she says 'girls' suggesting more than one).

I absolutely agree that it is annoying (at least to me) when people use the board only to hawk items, and contribute nothing positive to the board or the hobby. But I have to acknowledge that others may find some of the things I post annoying, so it goes.

What did you finally decide about the convention?
