did you read the discussion that Butch and I had, or did you just formulate responses? You made two posts in this series and neither appear to be responses to what I said. So I will reiterate. I think it would be a good idea, but it would require a lot of work. I asked no questions, nor advocated a position for the board to consider. Nobody advocated moving the convention. There are evets and people i the Chicago area, AC, Florida and Washington State that have events, so there are people.

Maybe some new ideas are what is needed to generate more interest in untapped areas of the membership, or to attract new members. The events can be small, they don't have to rival the convention to be great fun.
