The chips shown in the two auctions came from the Silver Slipper Casino open annualy during the Klondike Days Exposition in EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA. The condition of these older chips is a result of being used over a 10 day period once every year. These were not the first chips used by the Slipper. The Silver Slipper is no more and I am trying to find the remainder of the chips as well as more of the originals, which I found earlier this spring.
I'll not get into the deabte with Mr. Smith regarding the Las Vegas connection to those chips. We've been through that and I don't have the energy to waste on that debate.
I have seen the shipping records for those chips and I will check with the individual who sent me the scans if it is OK to post them when I get home from work. We're getting a big storm here with high winds and a tornado warning, so I'll be catching up tonight from the basement.
I hope this helps!
