there are always going to be members who are peripheral in nature. Member X may collect a few chips, an ashtray, but that is the extent of their collecting. They like the magazine, may have been in vegas by happenstance during the time of a convention (like how I became aware of the club in 2003). They pay their dues, enjoy the magazine, but have no desire for more involvement. Do we tell them they are not wanted unless they become more involved? Of course not. There are always going to be fringe membership, some will drift into more active ivolvement, some will drift away, some will remain in orbit.
