I have been serving as point man for the Chicagoland Chippers efforts to raise money for Cancer Research. I that capacity, I have spoken to several chippers who have shared stories of friends or loved ones who have battled cancer.

I recently heard from Bob Heistand is who one of the good people here on the board and in the hobby. He told me of his father who passed away in January from Cancer. I want to offer my sympathy to Bob and his family, and hope all of you who know Bob take a moment to remember him, his Father ad their family. The funeral was held this past weekend, the father had requested they wait till weather was better for the benefit of the family. A father is always a father.
