I have had the same problem w/ getting $1's from some casinos out here Rick. Actually the Golden Gate was one such place. I went and they wouldn't/couldn't sell me any at the cage. Went back a month later and bingo, chips! The lady was sooo nice, she went thru all her's and another cashiers cage looking for just the right ones! Sometimes it depends on who is working the cage.

We went to the New Frontier when the new rack came out and they would only sell me but 2-$1's. Went back last week, same thing. But the lady was real nice and sold me 5 and she got a nice little tip. Seems to me the reason it is hard to get $1's is because they don't have enough on hand for gambling, much less collecting. Everybody wants a souvenir like a dollar chip, but only collectors take $5 and higher denoms home , well, unless you get really smashed and take home a pocketful LMAO!!!

As for the H'ween, the chipbd will be the best place to find out who's releasing what. But from what I have learned there are certain casinos that do most Holiday releases, so you can be sure they will do H'ween chips. Also, keep an eye on this webpage......Have fun!
