There are an awful lot of really wonderful chippers that have left this mortal coil since Chris and I have been involved! I miss them for what they contributed to this hobby and that is why I work so hard to make this hobby better and better every day, it is my way of honoring them. I have no idea about how you can name some function of the club after anybody, there have been a lot of fallen chippers over the years! Perhaps one suggestion would be to have the educational seminars as they occur be named after our fallen comrades. Like a chair at a university. The Rick Miner First Timers Workshop or The Rick Miners Thursday Morning Seminar or... Just a thought!
